Dedicated Hosting better for businesses?

Hi all, can I have your opinions on dedicated hosting for businesses.

Would you say that dedicated hosting services is better for medium sized businesses rather then using shared hosting services? Will the uptime, general reliability and speed be better or would it not make any difference?

You opinions are always greatly appreciated!

Dedicated server is the only option for growing business and as because you get the best uptime, you never see your business website down and you never loose any customer because of dedicated server.

No necessarily the best uptime as it depends on your provider and how well you manage the server. In some cases it can be worse..

It's important to first investigate and know what your requirements are then evaluate what options best match your requirements while taking into account advantages and disadvantages.

The main difference between shared and dedicated server hosting solutions is that using shared hosting service, you will be sharing resources with other users which have also shared accounts which are places on one big servers.
Some companies do overselling which causes downtime.

As for reliable hosting provider, I can recommend you to check Host.co.in Web Hosting plans.
They never sell overshared network as many other hosts do, so your sites will be always up and very fast.

Uptime, general reliability and speed will vary depending on which provider you choose. Depending on the business' specific needs a dedicated server might be "overkill", many times a VPS is a more cost-effective solution. When you move into a dedicated server or VPS there's additional cost involved with management, too. If the budget is there and uptime is important a redundant setup configured for automatic failover would be best.

The best option would be dedicated VPS. You're provided with dedicated server performance all for a fraction of the cost!

Let’s try to provide you with a better visual scenario.

Imagine you had two friends.

One – let’s call him Joe - lives in a small student house. Although Joe has his own room, he shares his kitchen and bathroom with other people on same floor. Joe’s neighbours are constantly having parties (especially on weeknights) and he hears everything through the thin walls. He is involved in all their problems and his neighbours often have questionable guests making Joe feel his security is at risk.

Your other friend – Anna – lives in a luxurious house in a safe quiet neighbourhood. The only common area she comes close to sharing with her neighbours is the entrance to her street. She isn’t bothered by her neighbours, even when they have parties, because she can’t hear them through her thick secure walls. She is isolated from all their problems and feels safe in her home.

Now which one would you rather be?

Shared and dedicated servers are the same. On a shared server, the operating system and resources are shared, slowing down the server performance or worse requiring it to be shut down while the problem gets fixed.

In contrast, dedicated VPS allows you to do whatever you want with your space. Your neighbours problems are not your concern. It gives you the features and functionality of a physical dedicated without the cost of building and maintaining one. You have complete control of your virtual environment.

Thanks!
